Walk into the old streets after dark and meet the legends, the unexplained events and the uneasy stories that are part of this city's history — the ones that survived generations because nobody could quite explain them.
The route is built on the stories collected by Sylvia Lagarda-Mata in Fantasmes de Barcelona, and it takes you through the least obvious corners of Sant Pere, Santa Caterina and La Ribera: old convents, places tied to exorcisms, apparitions and popular legend.
You walk the city at the hour when the streets change character, with a guide who specialises in this and nothing else. A different kind of evening — for people who want the Barcelona that doesn't make the postcards.
The tour goes out in rain and in cold. Bring proper clothing and comfortable shoes, especially in the wet months.
Be at the meeting point 10 minutes early. We start at the stated time and cannot hold the group back — the route and the timings depend on it.
We meet by the Arc de Triomf and head for the old gate into the medieval city.

Metro L1 Arc de Triomf, two minutes from the arch. Your guide waits on the Passeig de Lluís Companys side — look for the Walking Planets sign.
Because the evening depends on the group: language mix, number of people and whether radioguides are needed. Tell us those three things and we confirm availability and a price for your group, usually the same day.
The group can be mixed. Our guides alternate between Spanish and English so everybody follows the same story — nobody gets the short version. If you'd rather have the whole route in one language, ask for it as a private.
It goes ahead. This route is better in bad weather, honestly. Bring a coat and comfortable shoes in the colder or wetter months.
Yes — with radioguides, which we include for groups over 15. For school and academy groups we build it into a programme with the rest of the week; ask for a student programme instead of using this form.
