Walking the city takes days. On a bike it takes an afternoon — and Barcelona is one of the flattest big cities in Europe, with a network of lanes that actually connects.
We ride from the medieval streets out to the sea: the Gothic Quarter, the Arc de Triomf, Ciutadella park, the Nova Icària beach and the Port Olímpic, then back along the waterfront.
Easy pace, frequent stops and a guide who talks at the stops rather than shouting over traffic. If you have one afternoon and want to understand how the city fits together, this is the tour.
You need to be able to ride a bike. We do not teach on the tour — if someone in the group cannot, ask us about the tuk tuk instead.
Three hours outdoors with no shade for part of it. Bring water, sunscreen and something to keep the sun off in summer.

Easy. Barcelona is flat, the route uses bike lanes and park paths, and we stop often. If you can ride, you can do it.
From about twelve, riding their own bike. For younger children ask us — we sometimes arrange child seats or trailers.
Light rain, we ride. Heavy rain is not safe on wet bike lanes, so we move the date or refund it.
