Three places.
Three periods. One day.

Roman Tarragona, medieval Girona and the bridge at Besalú, in a single trip out of Barcelona.

Three places. Three periods. One trip across Catalonia.

This excursion from Barcelona takes in some of the most interesting corners of Catalonia, putting Roman history, medieval architecture, culture and landscape into a single day.

The first stop is Tarragona, a city marked by its Roman past. We walk the old town and pick up the traces of ancient Tarraco, one of the most important cities of the Roman Empire on the Iberian peninsula.

Then on to Girona, a city with a lot of history and a lot of personality. Its cobbled streets, coloured houses, old quarters and medieval corners make up one of the most distinctive historic centres in Catalonia.

The last stop is Besalú, a small medieval town known for its remarkable bridge and for the charm of its streets and historic buildings.

A day travelling through centuries of history without leaving Catalonia.
